The fourth of the upcycled mirrors is finally finished. The initial inspiration for this one was the Combe Jellyfish. So it started as a Combe Jelly fish in the deep ocean but I did not like the result! However it was not back to square one – scraping the initial jellyfish would take very long so I painted on top leaving some of the original features to show through, and allowing the new paint to flow around them, with a very interesting result . It ended up with the shape of the more standard jellyfish but the result was very much to my liking.
